March 1st, 2025, marked another incredible Warrior's Ride—an event we at Traild are always proud to sponsor and support. This annual UTV ride brings together off-road enthusiasts for a day of adventure, camaraderie, and rugged trails.
But sometimes, the adventure starts before you even hit the dirt.
The Best-Laid Plans…
Our team arrived ready to go, eager to join the ride and represent Traild. But as we went to unload, we ran into an unexpected mechanical mishap. It turns out our shift cable had taken on some water, which froze solid in the cold temperatures. We messed with it for a while, borrowing a hammer to force the X3 into reverse, and into high hoping to work it free. We were deciding if we should risk the ride, and the effort it would take to maneuver tight parking spots when the cable had finally snapped, making our decision for us.
Was it frustrating? Yes. Did it stop us from having a great time? Not at all.
More Than Just the Ride
While we didn’t get to participate, we were still thrilled to be part of an event that means so much to Veterans. Watching the convoy of UTVs roll out, feeling the energy in the air, and knowing we played a role in helping made the day just as special.
At Traild, we believe in supporting events that bring people together, push limits, and remind us why we love off-roading in the first place. The Warrior’s Ride is one of those events, and we’ll be back next year—with a working shift cable.
See You in 2026!
Even though we were sidelined this time, we wouldn’t have missed the Warrior’s Ride for anything. A huge thank you to the organizers, the riders, and everyone who came out to make it such a success.
Next year, we’ll be back in the driver’s seat. And just in case, we might pack an extra shift cable.
